We will highlight the organizations such as area
representatives or service providers which sponsor the Tour events in the
host areas which are visited by the
consultants, or who participate in support of our other introductory
services such as Meeting Point.
For example, there may be multiple sponsors in a single host
area for a Tour event to share the cost of the professional work involved.
We will list such sponsors here.
A Tour may also include multiple host locations, as in the
case of a regional, state, or national Tour event involving visits to
several places during a week. Regional events can also bring multiple
sponsors and local representatives together efficiently in one place. |
Example : multiple sponsors for a Tour event in one location
-
national investment promotion agency (as in Europe,
Asia, etc.)
- state or regional economic development agency for
the host area
- regional utility, railroad, airport, port, FTZ,
or other infrastructure services
- professional service providers in the area - CRE
brokers, developers, etc.
- county, city, and local community economic
development organizations
- chamber of commerce or other local business
organizations or companies

As an example of service provider sponsors, major property
developers or CRE brokers who are promoting unique, high-value properties or
major new developments may also find value in hosting Tour events, typically
in cooperation with their local area representatives. |
There can also be local, regional, or national media sponsors which collaborate to help
promote the Tour events and the sponsor areas or service providers.
Our Meeting Point services may also be
coordinated with major event organizers as meeting venues. |
|
Corporate sponsors may include special situations such as
post-merger consolidation and relocation which leaves a company with major
real estate disposition needs. This can provide a way to promote a
unique opportunity - not limited to a vacant building. For example,
before closing a plant or office, this work may help the company to find
relevant prospects with an interest in acquiring the operations or the
talent which is left behind. |
Another example of a special situation might be military base
closures, such as to discuss redevelopment plans for the area at all stages
of the transition process. The redevelopment of such locations may
take several years, but the insights of a team of experts who frequently
assist executives with their investment plans can provide a valuable
"reality check" on redevelopment plans and marketing assumptions. |

Large sponsors (multiple days of Tour events during the year)
will appear at the top of the group when there are multiple sponsors for a
particular event. For example, a state or regional
development agency may sponsor visits to several counties or cities over a
period of days, or visits to multiple areas at different times of year. |
