This page will serve as a standardized template for the basic
structure of Area Reports which are prepared by Global Direct Investment
Solutions at the conclusion of Tour events in consultation with the sponsor
areas and the business advisors who participated. |
If participating consultants publish other reports about the
sponsor area which are publicly available and potentially relevant to the
interests of executives and their advisors when the area might be "on the
short list", these can also be highlighted through this process. |
|
The published Report will summarize key points from the Tour
visit, but sponsors may also receive private, informal feedback from
participants which is "off the record" as guidance to help improve their
competitive investment promotion efforts. |
For example, some communities may retain consultant services
for cluster analysis work, labor market analyses, targeting strategies,
feasibility studies for marketing plans or new developments in the area,
"certified site" initiatives, comparative cost studies, or a variety of
other services which they can provide to economic development organizations.
These types of research are beyond the scope of brief familiarization visits
such as Tour events. |
